about

Chapter SL69.

The atmosphere in the private hangar of Spaceport 15 was lively. Under the watchful eye of armed guards, the figures in black jumpsuits were telepathically boarding crates onto the cargo ship. No one even suspected that two uninvited guests were patiently waiting for the right time in the upper levels of the ventilation shaft. As soon as the moment came, they jumped onto the floor and hid behind a stack of military cases. "We need to find the emergency airlock," Spacelunch said in a muffled voice. Cat nodded affirmatively.

Agilely sneaking through the arrays of containers, they stealthily made their way onto the deck. An inconspicuous door with a built-in security system was the last obstacle. After they successfully entered the access codes, the door gently slid open, inviting them to enter a dimly lit, spacious cabin.

After a short while, the countdown began. The ship came into motion and slowly headed out into open space following the predetermined trajectory. Watching the distant planet, the partners were realising the neatness of the executed part of the plan. Now their way led them to the corporal's secret base.

Special Zip's hypnotic, techy, and meticulously crafted dub techno creations beckon both deep listening and dancefloor exploration.

"Worn Out" immerses listeners in profound, technical grooves that captivate from start to finish. Its addictive journey unfolds with intricate rhythms, weaving a mesmerizing spell. Focused drum patterns drive the tracks forward, adding layers of intensity and depth. Special Zip's mastery shines through in the meticulous attention to, creating an experience that's both engaging and entrancing. These pieces make for a lasting impression in various applications of music appreciation.

"Ester" kicks off the release with its Cologne-style dub techno vibes, featuring deep basslines and techy grooves that immediately draw the listener into its hypnotic rhythm. "Albus" introduces a spacey chord intro, leading into an airy, laid-back beat infused with dub elements. The creative rhythm work reminiscent of Savvas Ysatis in the late '90s adds depth, while light shards of melody gradually emerge, culminating in a cohesive and satisfying blend. "Figment" feels like a creation straight out of a science lab, with its unique sounds seamlessly coming together to form a catchy and liquid-sounding track. "Worn Out" takes a more serious tone, serving as an ominous builder with reggae roots vocal samples layered over a traditional dub track infused with a techno bounce. The smooth progression adds to the track's allure, resulting in a dynamic listening experience. Closing things out is the Alexander Bogdanov remix of "Albus" it offers a sub-aquatic beat reminiscent of heavy sonar pulses. Deep chords and a beautiful melody evoke a peaceful mood, making it easy on the ears.
