about

Chapter SL66.

– Uhh. We seem to have some problems.
– We?! Have you forgotten who has protected your cowardly ass? I'll put out my cigar on it and then feed you to piranhas if you don't find out where those two bony scumbags are hiding.
– Much obliged, boss!
– Stop trembling, you goddamn asskisser. I give you 48 hours to find them.

Minimal Antagonist was the one before whom all intergalactic ranks lost their power. Corporal Graves was no exception. An animal fear took over him every time he had to look into the eyes of the creature of darkness that had taken many greedy under control. The rumours of Spacelunch’s survival had remained rumours until word came out from the Ice Dimension.

– My men spotted Cat in the company of a man who looked much like the professor.
– Pray they don't show up here before they're found. Now get out of here.

The corporal hurried away slurping nervously. The time to come up with a new plan was melting away inexorably: the bid-rigging could be discovered at any moment.

––––––––

Long before we harnessed the power of electricity, man has yearned to design and program an artificial life. To build robots or machines to help transform industry. Whether it was to do mundane tasks, serve man or fight human's wars. There is a however, another level to the evolution. That is, machines building other machines. Not till recently had we seen this on such a scale as we do today. BT Gate X-138 has birthed the soundtrack such a dystopian world. “Maskinfabrikk” means just that in Norwegian.

”Apparatus 2B” creates the audio landscape of what seems to be a peaceful and serene metropolis. The ideal makeup of a synthetic land where man succeeded in all that challenged their understanding of life. A Utopia. “Implement 3” rewinds things backwards to the beginning. The genesis of the mechanical pulse is the rhythm of machines. The origin of their makeup is set to a time signature. “Automation 4” takes things deeper. Programming the machines is the most important job. This task is not taken lightly as songwriter's successes and failures will multiple forever. Injecting life into machines is not for the faint of heart either. A great example here with “Foundry 4C” which blends human power and emotion while balancing in an organic and nature esque blend of sounds. Still, there is fears of what bad can happen as a result of playing God with machines. “Mechanism 6” is ominous in mood and desires the listener to heed its warnings. “Formation 5” let's the secret out of the bag. Is this world already in automation?

”Maskinfabrikk” is a wonderful sci-fi novel that can be a choose your own adventure by track selecting. A well-paced ambient dub soundtrack most enjoyed in a comfortable armchair or a long drive at night. This type of story boarding is next level only rivaled by the quality of the producing equally. BT Gate X-138 creates a masterpiece.
