Hello friends!
We are glad to present our sixteenth release from Asvajit 'Holocene'. Asvajit is one of the most important figures in the underground electronic scene on the island of Sri Lanka. In 2009 he began his career electronic musician. Behind a large number of releases published in different countries, as well as a large number of appearances on his native island and abroad (Berlin, London, New Delhi, etc).
Asvajit is the founder of the first independent underground record label in Sri Lanka - Jambutek Recordings, as well as the driving force and co-founder of the event agency 'Bang Bang', behind which more than a dozen quality events. Winning the trust of the underground scene, he also contributed to the development of local culture and inspired beginners electronic musicians of post-war Sri Lanka. Asvajit is an Ableton Live instructor and a professional book designer. In this regard, it is very sensitive to the design of covers for the label, which publishes his material.
'Holocene' EP is very powerful, dynamic and at the same time elegant. Remixes for this release was created by Hungarian musician Crispin, about which almost nothing is known except his intelligent dub-techno. Pleasure listening!
